-
Ian Piercy - Chairman
An avid waterfowler for over 20 years Ian was revved up to help give back to waterfowl and the waterfowl community that has played a major role in his life.
-
Philip Lindsay - Co-Chair
Meet your WNY Delta Co-Chair, Philip Lindsay. He grew up in WNY and has been hunting since he was 12. Originally a die hard deer hunter, Phil didn't start hunting birds until around 2010. What started off as a weekend passion has turned into a consuming addiction. With his dog Bela usually by his side, you will find him duck, goose & pheasant hunting during most of the fall seasons. He loves introducing youths and new hunters to the sport as well. Whether it's hunting, fishing, kayaking or just walking the dog, Phil loves being outdoors, enjoying all that WNY has to offer.

Brandon Bove - Treasurer
With a passion for the great outdoors that spans 17 years, I have developed a deep love for hunting in all its forms. For the past 4 years, I have dedicated myself to waterfowl hunting, an experience that brings a unique thrill and connection to nature. My journey into the world of duck hunting began with my papa, who introduced me to this exciting pursuit and instilled in me a respect for the environment and the traditions of hunting.
What I cherish most about waterfowl hunting are the unforgettable memories created with friends and family. Each outing is not just about the hunt; it’s about laughter, camaraderie, and the stories we share around the campfire. Whether it’s the early morning fog settling over the water or the sound of wings cutting through the air, every moment spent waterfowl hunting is a reminder of the bonds we forge and the beauty of the natural world.

Brendedn Zaky - Secretary
I’ve been an avid waterfowl hunter since 2017. Since waterfowl has been introduced into my life it has consumed it. From learning about migration to management of wetlands and all. Now it’s my time to give back to the community and years of service that has provided myself and many others to enjoy these same traditions today.

Joe Divissich - Volunteer Committee lead
After starting my life as avid outdoorsman, I turned to proudly serve my country as an Army patriot missile operator. Upon returning I went on my first duck hunt and 9 years later I’ve never looked back! Now I proudly pursue a wide range of game but when it comes to waterfowl, divers are my go too. I am beyond excited to be a part of Delta and look forward to helping promote the fun and rewarding aspect of volunteering; through public engagement and education in the field!

Tyler Skowronski - Social Media Guru
Life long sportsman, waterfowling since 2017. When passion for the outdoorsdoors was coupled with a 4 year degree in environmental science I hoped to one day returning the favor, after countless memories the field and water had given me. I am beyond excited to be apart of WNY Delta in the hopes that I can help create better local duck habitat and more waterfowl, all while capturing all of our efforts through the lens of my camera!

Ashley Romanowski
While I’m relatively new to duck hunting, my passion for the sport and conservation is strong. My journey started with my dog, Avis, who began as a hiking companion but quickly became my beloved hunting partner. Through my involvement with NAVHDA, I’ve connected with others who share my love for the outdoors and commitment to wildlife conservation. I am dedicated to ensuring that duck hunting remains a cherished tradition for future generations. I enjoy helping newcomers learn about the sport in a fun and welcoming way. Above all, Avis is the heart of my journey and the driving force behind my dedication to hunting and conservation.

Erik Volk - MC of events/Restaraunt nights
Description goes hereMy name is Eric Volk. I started hunting at a later stage in life. I was 38 when a went to the first Black Friday event at Cabela's in cheektowaga, New York. I met a young man in line and we talked about how I always wanted to hunt but never had anybody to take me. He asked if I wanted to come to a duck hunt on Grand Island one day to see what it was like. I took him up up on the offer and have been hooked ever since.
I enjoy the hunt, not just for the ability to get my own food, but the camaraderie that it builds between myself and other hunters. Also just being in nature and being able to get away from the rest of the world has really helped with my mental health.
I have two favorite birds to hunt. I enjoy hunting puddle ducks, but the Drake Wood duck has eluded me for 10 years. Although I do feel that diver ducks are more fun to hunt because of the challenge that persists during setup in the cold weather. Out of all the diver ducks, my favorite is the canvas back.
I decided to join Delta waterfowl because I feel that a small organization has a better chance to make a bigger impact in the local areas.

Corey Fitzery
I have been an outdoorsman my whole life, I grew up prowling the warm waters of the Florida Keys fishing, lobstering, and crabbing. I made my way to WNY where I met my wife and began hunting pheasant, squirrel, rabbit, and deer 35 years ago. I am a proud US Army Veteran, and was introduced to waterfowl hunting when a group of young men invited me on a veterans hunt. That hunt was -10 degrees, the fog on the water as the sun came up and watching ducks materialize out of the fog was spiritual. The time spent in the blind that morning bonding with fellow hunters brought me back to my military days. I was humbled these hunters volunteered to sit in the cold and watch me miss ducks because they appreciated those that served and sacrificed. I was hooked!
I love all ducks, and geese, the diversity of species and beauty of each absolutely have had me obsessed with studying every aspect of their amazing lives and the joy of perusing them.
I am hoping my passion for waterfowl and dedication to helping people will be an asset to Delta, to help bring new people into our sport and organization.
